A legacy and the birth of Iberidia

1948

It all began with the determination and vision of a man named Miguel Ángel Moros. Born in Venezuela in 1948 to a modest family, Miguel Ángel learned from a young age to fight for his dreams. At the age of 12, he began to help his family by selling meals prepared by his mother, always looking for innovative ways to increase his sales. His dream was to achieve financial freedom and ensure a future without the difficulties he himself experienced in his childhood.

1977

After getting married and starting his own family, Miguel Ángel understood that he could not fail. His obsession became to guarantee the safety and well-being of his family. He began his career as a medical representative for a pharmaceutical laboratory, later becoming part of a company founded by a Swiss businessman, dedicated to the import and distribution of raw materials for pharmaceutical laboratories. It was there that he discovered his exceptional talent for sales and in 1977 he rose to become the CEO of the company. After the death of the owner, the organization was left in a difficult situation. Faced with this adversity, Miguel Ángel decided to forge his own path.

2000

He founded his first company in 2000, dedicated to importing and distributing for the pharmaceutical sector. Thanks to his talent and effort, he soon saw the fruits of his work: he scaled his business, acquired a stake in a veterinary pharmaceutical laboratory and invested in other projects.
In this process, his daughter, who had recently graduated in foreign trade, Lidia Moros, assumed the role of general manager, and together they expanded their portfolio, being pioneers in the commercialization of endotoxin reagents in Venezuela.

2007

However, in 2007 the political and economic situation of the country became complicated, and insecurity increased. Three of his children decided to emigrate to Europe, settling in Spain and Germany. It was in this context that, inspired by their father’s legacy, Lidia Moros and Daniel Moros decided to continue the family tradition.

2013

In 2013, Iberidia S.L. was founded. in Spain, with the aim of offering high-quality raw materials for pharmaceutical laboratories, diversifying its portfolio to also include the food industry, among others.
